Scope and responsibilities
Basam Tutor applies child-centred safeguards to marketplace messaging, lessons, profiles, documents and reports. Tutors, staff, guardians and learners must use platform channels and report concerns promptly.
Tutor conduct
Tutors must maintain professional boundaries, avoid private off-platform contact with minors, never request unnecessary personal information and use only approved lesson arrangements. Sexualized conduct, grooming, harassment and retaliation are prohibited.
Reporting and response
Immediate danger should be reported to local emergency services. Platform reports are restricted to authorized staff, preserved with need-to-know access, triaged by severity and escalated where required.
Guardians and records
Guardian participation and consent are required where applicable. Safeguarding records are access-controlled, retained under the applicable schedule and never used for marketing.
